We don't assume it will help. Ling will remain banned. But, that is no reason for us to stop moaning when we feel a wrong was done. The mods may not care about Ling, but they may think about this the next time they decide to ban someone for doing nothing.

The mods are normally very level-headed and make rational decisions, but there are times when they go overboard. This is one of those cases.

what i dont underatand is what was wrong with his link?
it wasnt any type of vendor, he wasnt trying to sell anything, how was it hurting our sponsors? was one of the mods/admins just having a bad day and decided to take it out on someone? thats what it seems like, ive been to his site and there is nothing that would hurt our sponsors on it.


i understand that he got banned for posting pm's and i do agree with some type of punishment b/c what he did was wrong, but 60 day ban? you guys are nuts, you get less time for a dui. not to mention this shouldve never been started in the first place (see above)."

all in all i've been a member on here for many years and have seen things change.......change for the worst........good members getting baned for either speaking there mind or for random links......heck i was asked through a pm to remove my kobe gif image in my sig because it was slowly down the site...... i didn;t question or say anything and did it but ling getting the boot because he had a link of his personal site??????he never promoted it......

too much crap going on with mods trying to change *****.......last year chris got banned for something stupid and now this.......*** that *****.

Keep in mind that Ling wasn't banned for the link in his signature, but rather for posting the contents of a Private Message that was sent to him, and then signing up under a different ID.
