You never told me which size you liked? Is it the long skinny one on the CL the other day or the basic sized one that was on the CLK at MBLN?

I shoulda snaked them both when I had the chance.

Jangy...I was down in SD for New Years and happened to pass a little shop called Symbolic in La Jolla. Is this the shop you've been talking about?? Place looks NICE!!!! Had a sweet little candy apple red S7 in the front window. Actually, come to think of it, the house party I went to was damn near across the street from the place.

What happened to the QUAD exhausts?

 

That is the showroom. their service / work shop is in another part of town. It is his Conti GT that I worked on.

 

They are there, just gotta look close. Also, they are blacked out.

 

My bad. I knew I had about a 30 second window while Vadim was running about and I was alone with the CL for about 5 minutes.

I've got a feeling AMG will never find my in-car camera file, since it has been a year now. I'll see what kind of deal i can work in. I was planning to just get a free pass to this years AMG Challenge, but maybe I'll just settle for your plate!!

 

can you get those AMG plates jangy? I've been wanting one like the ones they have on the AMG website.

 

I had a contact at AMG and I told VIC55 I'd try to get him one to match his new CL. My contact faded, and when I got pissed and pressed it i found out the guy retired. So, now I am onto new people. i just completed my full review of the CL550, so i get to go for a brief interview and i'll ask and plead some more. Bad comes to worse, I will steal him one at some event!

 

I was going to jack one at MBLN when I got my E55. I was there for like 3 hours waiting for the sales manager, paperwork, etc. I was the only customer in the dealership, and very few people working.

I was thinking of grabbing it off the CLK DTM, but the image of 7' tall Vadim jumping out from behind the tree ninja style and grabbing my neck changed my mind.

 

I was right there with you bro. I even touched it and it just dangled by one fastener, but i got scared and ran off!!


Hey Vadim!! Can you get VIC55 one of those and charge me? I'll pay retail. I never even asked if the legal way was possible?

the attachment was your cookie cutter dealer plates and stuff.

 

I'll call him and twist his arm. i also have a few fax numbers for some high ups. i try not to use them, but they do get responses.

Jangy it is your sworn duty to get my that frame. Jeff is hooking me up with the carbon fiber one but I am still holding you accountable. If you are unable to reach goal I will reassign the task to someone more qualified.
