Will Kleeman make a Kompressor kit for E63 ?

Will Kleeman make a Kompressor kit ( supercharger bolt on kit ) for E63 ? or any other MB tuner plan on making one ?

I think that would make the E63 Kompressor the best of 2 worlds ?

I would imagine so but with the 63s high compression I dont know if the gains would justify the $$. I would just wait for the Turbo version that hopefully would be out in a few years

compression is 11.3.1 on the e63

Slk55 is 11:1 and they have a 7psi supercharger so i dont see why they wont make one for the 63. the n/a 55's gain close to 200hp with the supercharger so i dont see why it wouldnt be worth it. Thicker head gasket would solve the compression ratio issue.

that was my other point eLTURCOamg. What is the point in adding 200hp if the tranny cant handle it. The tranny is close to the limit now on the 63

I would say going turbo has to be easier ... surely? Better for tranny as well.

If one of the big tuners like Kleemann really are developing the kit, its quite obvious that it is not pointless, or they simply wouldnt bother.

If this is true and they work out the tranny issue I will be stopping by mercedes to pick up a new 63!
