Anyway, I think he said heating it will allow us to move it where ever we want. Or he was thinking of breaking off the welds in the backside, and rewelding it so it fits correctly.
On mine I think the shortened the inside mount a little so both external tips were aligned. I know the Eisenmann system is not a perfect plug and play.

That is definitely something that a good muffler shop can fix. VIC55's does look MINT. I drooled over it a few years back. I was also a picky one when I had my resonator removed. It took my guy a good 4 hours to get the tips exactly like I wanted them.

Stick with it and be patient. It can be done. Glad you like the sound. How is it from the inside? At Idle vs WOT?

For that kind of money it should very well be plug and play though,I'd either send it back or have them pick up the bill for the repairing it.

I didnt want to mess with it at the time because I didnt want to void my warranty. But after looking at it all afternoon, screw it, I gotta get it fixed. If Vic brings his 55 to the meet next week, I'll definitely compare how his tips look.

The sound is nice and deep while driving regularly. Definitely louder and more noticable.

At full throttle, it sounds mean and loud.

It makes the little "burbles" when you let off the gas which I like too!!

its not as "raspy" sounding as Vic's based on the videos, but his car still sounds meaner

Roots/Screw type superchargers need a bit of back pressure to make the power.

My Eisenmann wasn't a perfect fit either. I was actually kinda pissed when I first installed it, it hung way too low and off the right. I've since adjusted it twice and am going to have it on the lift again tomorrow to try to align it for the last time. I don't mind that much since I have access to a lift every day but you should definitely make sure the exhaust shop gets it perfect this time.

I just got back from taking a spin and hearing this exhaust. It's perfect! This is the way our cars should have sounded from the factory. No drone or cheap sounds. Just perfect tone that lets you and others know the car has a lot of grunt. From the outside it's louder than stock, no doubt, but it is not over the top. The mufflers create a perfect symphony that you would expect from a well tuned European FI V8.

I wanna know if there's any drone during cruising and if the exhaust sound gets too loud in the cabin with windows closed.

Zero drone. It sounds PERFECT! Like I said before, this is how our cars should have come from the factory.

Hmm, I wonder what's so different about the 211 design because on my 210 there is a LOT of drone. Wonder if there's some way to fix it.

Yes I agree, even with my post cats gone I have zero drone- just that sweet roar up on WOT. Drone is subjective but the cabins of the E55 are fairly tight. Of course my car was louder without the resonators but it was still awesome for my personal tastes.
