Thanks for all of the feedback. A little bit of everything mixed in there. Bottom line is I get to keep the car.
Wife moved our son to another carpool with only two kids so now everyone fits in my E55 sedan.
You guys were right on the mark regarding the pricing. There was absolutely zero interest in the lease assumption over the past week. I would have had to eat quite a bit in incentives to get out of it to make a swap or spend it on a 4th car. Glad this worked out.
