Base on my experience, E63 felt little faster than E55. Well, who ever step all the way longer, who usually wins....

Leave it in S mode and just punch it. Let the computer do its job. The manual is just too hard to time with the lag and all.

Huh? based on what experience? The only people I know that have ever claimed an E63 is faster is salesman trying to sell them. Even AMG acknowledges that the E55 is quicker in a straight line.

depends, from a roll you should pick the lowest possible gear yourself and let the car shift up. from a dig put it in 1st and let it shift up. leave it in s though. when are you planning on doing this?
