Dyno mode without changing gears...?

hey guys,

I know how to do dyno mode and all that but how do i make it so that the car will not automatically downshift by going full throttle is there something special I have to do (disconnect kick down button or bypass something)? I see all these E55 guys starting there dynos from extremely low RPMS, but my W210 E55 won't let me figure out power below 3700rpm b/c it automatically downshifts. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Dyno mode works on a 210 E55?

I don't think you can stop it from downshifting on a 210 E55. The 210's I have seen run on the dyno typically modulate the throttle so as to not hit the kick down switch until you get above 3500 or so.

You should be able to get to full throttle without hitting the kick down switch. You just cant stomp on the accelerator.

Good luck!
