Hi all,
1st post. I did call Donna and got my name on the list. She mentioned all the local hotels are booked. Shelle55, still have extra room? dates/rates? I am reserved but haven't run it by the wife yet. Donna mentioned that there should be over 100 cars.
Previous cars:
-97 M3 (240hp)
-00 540i-6spd (282hp)
-03 M5 (394hp)
Now:
-04 350z Roadster (Wife)
-06 E55 Silver (469 hp)
Me:
Car/Computer geek from LA(626) with some track experience

track prep
I am kind of stressing about what needs to be done to my car to be worthy of a few track days. I'm considering changing tires and brake pads. Can I buy Porterfield pads in a storefront or do I have to purchase them online? A link would be appreciated by my laziness. I would really like to purchase pads that can be used daily after the completion of the event. How about brake fluid.
My newbeeness thanks you

If you want to go overboard, you can change pads and fluid, but it all depends on you. You should be more concerned with tire pressures, and get a good tire pressure guage so we can adjust pressures when you're there.

Yup yup. If it is the '06, I would go get an oil change and have the tech give it a once over. If you need pads, then get em. If not, don't. If you do need pads and are an enthusiast I definitely recommend the Porterfield Street competition. they also have a Track compound, but it wasn't worth all the added noise and dirt for me. You can contact Porterfield Industries direct and they will overnight them to you. It is $500ish for a set for the E55.
Hey Jeff, why you gotta leave town for 2 weeks? Someone after you, bro?
Cyrus: my cousin lives in Vegas and has a 996TT. Do you have more room? He would be interested in becoming a member as well, since he lives there.

Any one bringing spare tires? I am getting mine replaced next week. My rears are shot but I do have tread left on the fronts. Should I keep/bring at least one of the fronts?
