Stock Dyno Sheet

I had my dyno done before my RT upgrade at Creative. I've attached the graph. I dont think it looks right due to a number of reasons already discussed, but I figure Id post it anyway.

I dont think its right how my HP peaks at 4100 RPM, and my torque curve looks like a ski slope

It just looks funny at the low end. I think your comments about how the dyno shop ran the car is right.

Did you get you ECU back and plugged in? What was your A/F? This run was on 4th gear?

ECU should be here tomorrow.

I have the A/F on the data sheet printout, but the operator didnt know how to put it on the graph since they never use it.

A/F drops slowly from 14.4 until about 4100 RPM, then it just stays at 10.0. Im not motivated enough to put it into a spreadsheet to graph.

I have no idea what gear it was done in. Operator was doing all sorts of weirdness.

Yeah, I dont think they know the proper procedure at all.

Wait are you saying this dyno is STOCK? w/492 rwto???? If so I've never seen a rwto that high stock on any other E55 211, that's very questionable

Yeah I agree, Charles if you really have 492 rwtq then you have about 615 at the crank and thats usually a number after stage 2 or higher. With that low end grunt (if correct) I would expect your much lighter E55 to run a little closer to my 65 in the stop light runs we had and definitely you would have beat the E63 that ran too??

The numbers are about right. Most stock E55s are 420RWHP/480RWTQ on Dynojet.

The problem with other dyno brands is that the operator has an ability to adjust the load, which in turn can change the HP/TQ numbers.

Im going to redyno post mods at the same place so that the gains will be consistant.

Then I'll take it to evosport or someone else that knows what they're doing to compare

It is low, but the torque is still up there in the average range at 430.

the hp number is right on for a stock car but the tq number is really not quite right. Dyno Dynamics read lower. My stock dyno in 70 degree weather was 410hp and 450tq. So either your car is super healthy or dyno operator is wack. Again another tq curve that started late because of operator

They are all the same operator!! Jeez, that sucks. We should have gone with Creative's own!

but how would the operator screw up peak torque? I could understand if he got the torque curve to start late, but how does that affect the maximum?

I don't think he did. Your numbers line up with the others here.

He didnt screw it up but the TQ number for a stock car is super high. 492 rwtq translates to what at the crank? 570-580+? So that is even beyond MBs claims.

The dyno operator just didnt know how to floor it probably without getting the car to down shift. Its tricky. I dynoed my on car so I know. It takes a few runs to figure out that fine line.

But not only is the purpose of a dyno to show peak power it should show where your power is through out the entire run.

I agree with you 100%, but still just curious how that would affect the peak torque value though?

Im not that concerned though because its just numbers on a piece of paper, Im just interested in overall gain from the stage 1 mod. Which unfortunately means I have to go back to that same place, and ding dong operator

How scary is that? That is exactly (414) the number I got out of my CLS63.

I really dont know. I know the dyno applies a load t the car when you push the button for the run maybe the that has something to do with it
