Let us try to be positive....if it looks to be a total washout we will shoot for March 8. Runs are from 9am to 5pm. Be sure to bring a helmet and mid-day food as concessions are not open on track rental days.

Hi fellow dc metro owners
Hi guys....brand new to this forum and E55 wagon ownership but noticed this thread on the track day. I'm suppose to work but would love to try to make it out, even just to spectate and meet some of you guys. Interested in learning about some of the mods you all have done to your amg's. Do you guys ever do any regional type get-togethers?

Someone please take vids of the runs. I will be doing a rental late March/early April depending on when I get my car back from the body shop.
red60R- There are alot of local euro meets when the weather warms up. Every friday in Rockville and every tuesday in Kingstowne. There are alot of big events planned this year so I'll let you know when things are happening.

Stephen, when will the call be made to reschedule for the 8th? I'm 90 minutes from MIR, I'd hate to waste 3+hrs in travel only to be rained out.

We will make the decision by noon tomorrow if it looks like it is going to be a washout. I will post here and send an e-mail. As of right now it isn't looking very good and the rain date is March 8. I am 90 minutes from MIR as well.

It turned out to be a great day yesterday even with a threat of rain. We left the track at about 4pm and it hadn't rained at all. My S600 ran an 11.97@114.7 with a 1.755 60'. This is stock ECU, eisenmann rear exhaust and drag radials. Wayne E ran a 12.09@115 with his 2006 E55. There was a C55 which ran a 12.8@109. My pickup ran 13.01@101. My buds 2003 Z06 supercharged ran a 10.86@130. '70 Camaro with a 420 inch small block ran 11.6 N/A and 10.6@130 with nitrous. Two 2000-2002 E55's were running and I didn't see what they ended up running. Great day and we will have to do it again. Thanks for everyones participation.
