Kompressor engines are hot, that is why everyone clicked on this link.. With the lack of supercharged 55's I highly doubt you will get 5 of your ecu tunes sold..

If it is a typo, then do you really want someone messing with your ecu that knows BMWs and NOT MBs?

Our tuner actually is more known in the Mercedes world than the BMW world... We are not tuning your ECU but instead sending it to SpeedInnovations, our authorized ECU tuner... so no worries there. We would never put your ECU in the hands of anyone who was not 100% knowledgable.

As for the typo, I'm not sure what you guys mean... The W210 E55 WAS naturally aspirated, wasn't it?

Also, this is 5 TOTAL, not 5 per model... that means SLK55, E55, C55, CLK55... you get the idea.

I don't get the idea and I'm not sure you do either.

You responded to 2k6e55 that he could get his ecu tuned. The '06 E55 are kompressors. This conflicts with your ad copy.

I meant he can have his ECU tuned, but not under this deal.

We still tune the Kompressor models, it's just more expensive.

Can you tell me what the ECU mod entails for the E5K? Do you make it specific to my car or is it a generic file? What does it do to the A/F ratio? Does it assume any additional mods? What does it do to the current speed limiter? Etc etc?

Each tune is in essence custom as our technician will look at what values your car is running and will adjust them to make more power. This includes adjusting timing, A/F ratios, etc.

The top speed governor is removed and the rev limiter adjusted. We don't "assume" anything - you'll have to tell us what mods you have and we'll tune for that

Run a special on the E63 spoilers

so what gains do you typically see on compressor car versus what you posted for the non-c cars. and if i just ship you the ecu do i get a generic tune since you dont have my car which only has headers and k&n?

Rock - They sell too well to do a special on them, to be honest. They're flying off the shelves right now

NagsHD - We custom tune each car. If you tell us you have headers and K&N, we'll tune your car for those mods, no problem. Compressor cars make more power with software than non-Compressor. For example, we make 50HP and 70TQ on the new BMW 335i!
