I took my car in for service earlier this week and they found that one of the small screw looking things on the front of the steering wheel was missing(almost directly in front of the button shifters). I hadn't even noticed it was missing, but I'm sure it is probably under my seat. I always thought they look like they should have had a cover on them.

Anyway, there is not a replacement part except for the entire wheel which Mercedes is replacing at a cost of $3200. I wish they would just give me $1000 and I would find the screw and glue it back in. This is one reason these cars cost so much.
