I am looking for someone I met at captree several weeks ago with a Rentech E55. I have an M6
He told me that he likes to do high speed runs so I have come to post this video here as an example of
the kind of video that I shoot.
This is an open invitation to come for a video shoot

The car was not at max acceleration by the way. I actually ran out of road

Pretty tight gearing on that M6 ~6800-8000 thorughout the run pretty impressive no wonder these things are so quick 100+ mph...!!!

Look at that acceleration from 60-120 or so! No wonder my CLK55 felt like a Civic when I tried to catch up to an M5 on full acceleration

Sweet! Never been a big fan of BMW, but the M6 has definetly changed my mind. Every time I see one I drool.

Man those cars are made to fly...Nice vid!, Although I am thinking of a really good excuse of what you would have told a trooper if he would have clocked you at 196mph,

Here is how the story goes...

Trooper: "Sir, do you know how fast you were going?"
Jidex: Hmmmm, maybe 110..120....
Trooper: "Sir , you were doing 196...hold on let me check my Gun i don't think that is a correct reading...is your speedometer Ok...
Jidex: officer I am telling you I was legally doing maybe 90, just a little sprint run...that's all.
Trooper: "Sir, I will let you slide this time, I think my radar gun might have been a bit defective..."



Then again after doing 120+ in a car like that...rule of thumb, never stop, keep going. lol!

I don't race like I told you but I do have the euipment to set up a nice run of your car so people cansee how those mods really work

Beleive it or not ...the M6 is faster than a an M5 stock for stock comparison of course.

The M6 is particlularly stable at high speed and has a particlularly mean 3rg gear pull between 80-100 mph

Nice meeting you as well. You have a very nice car as well. Truth be told, I was very close to buying one.. very close. Couldnt wait for it to arrive though. Now that I have my E55, I can't let it go...
I definitely want to do some high speed runs. Maybe on Saturday? A buddy of mine has an M5 and he will probably be interested in getting in on the action as well..

We can do a shoot once the weather really warms up
I'll bring along a friend of mine with a delimited M5...really cool guy..plus he has a camera mount aswell. We'll make a really good video

Great linking up again....I can understand your reluctance to part with the E55 Rentech...I'd feel the same way looking at your ride
I want to see how it runs at high speed giving the diferent gearing and power band
The M6 seems to excel between 5500rpm and 8250 and its definetly a different vehicle above 100 mph. The strongest pulling gear is 3rd

Yes. it is a different vehicle above 100mph. I drove one in South Carolina on the BMW test track. Third gear is a beast. In another month Englishtown reopens and I will be running my car down there. I should have some videos then.

I actually short shifted Peak rpm is 8250 rpm
If you look at the rpm I really should've kept it in 6th until it hit about 185 mph ( which I have done before)
But all the same hitting 180 in 6th was sweet
the car has a Heads-Up-Dusplay which I was watching
I got kind of amazed whenI saw 188...the 190..then 192 and still accelerating on the HUD
It really is a video for the ages for me though as I won't be doing this again any time soon
