thats funny

I have only received the best possible customer support from Renntech. Ken in Arizona and Hartmut in Florida. They might not be the quickest to turn things around ... but when I call florida and ask for Hartmut he always answers and takes the time to answer my 100s of questions.

Personally I'm glad you didn't come up to EuroElites to get this stuff done ... your the type of customer that just begs to be turned away. I remember Adam telling me how much of a discount you were looking for and I pretty much told him thats silly.

To me it sounds like 2 issues ...

1. Creative messed up install. It also sounds like they are standing behind their work and ready to fix the problems.

2. ECU tuning. I don't think you realize just how lucky you are to have Renntech fly out and custom tune. Every car is different ... even is every code is the same or the cars are the same year, they are all different. Every single engine is different.
So what if a problem was discovered with your baseline ecu tune. It could be so many freaking factors. The fact that they are willing to fly out and fix this for you should speak volumes as to their level of support.

I surprised you even drive a Mercedes. Considering how many problems these cars have nowadays ... I'd have suspected you of suing Mercedes by now. OR is it because you can't get away with this crap?

Thanks for the personal attacks and the info to let us know that we got the best deal. Funny how that price was what Adam offerred, not what I asked for. I am aslo happy I ended up with Creative as I've been very happy with them.

The only thing your bright butt is right about is that RennTech can be a little slow to respond. In this case, they did and all is well!!

Thanks again for the hate. E>SLK

Thanks for all the PMs. The module isn't for sale after all as I was being too impatient. RennTech did indeed step up and Creative always has. They dumped a nice jug of cool water on my head and I am feeling much better now.

By the way, those want the Module should contact Creative directly. There was easily enough of you that responded that they could probably get a great price for you.

EVOTECH Mercedes AMG
I am glad Renntech stepped up for everyone. Now its time to bury the hatchet. We are all one family, and we share the same passion for our cars. Good luck either way.

Thnaks Adam. You are right about moving on and I thank you for all your support, too. I hope to have my Pulley, ECU upgrade, headers, IC upgrade, and toe links installed soon. Looks like I'm back on my schedule to be fully modded by summer.

200 bucks shipped for the lowering module

Jk jk jk... Glad you got it taken care of.

I asked my mechanic what he thought of all this, and he claimed that the bolt should of been torqued down to 250 lb/feet, and then another 90 degress.

Change mechanics. All the spec books say 145. LOL, where does he get 250 from?

I never got the HREs. I ordered and paid, but after three months, they never could deliver what was ordered. Maybe by this time next year they will have them.

You need some? I never tried Prozac. Paxil had side effects. Zoloft is good, but takes a few weeks to kick in!!

At last I can sleep- I was present for the entire event. To be honest there was far less drama during the repair efforts by Creative in the hotel parking lot then there was on the board following.

Jangy- Ill be in SD next Friday- you owe me more beer than August Busch IV.
