Hmm, SL's, we'll see what we can come up with. The actual shoot is actually pretty simple most times. Scheduling, finding a location with minimal harassment from security, and setup are the more difficult aspects of the shoot.

Arjang, you've got to wash your car more than once every nine months! The shoot was really spur of the moment after having a discussion about potential ideas at lunch w/Eric. Jay and his car were ready and available so luckily, it just happened to work out for us based on virtually no advance notice. Using my car as the guinea pig all the time gets boring as you could imagine so it was nice to have another subject.

Thanks Rudy. Weddings aren't my forte but Eric on the other hand does do weddings and does a great job of it. If I remember correctly you're in Nevada. I'm sure he'll jump all over the idea of another Vegas trip.

Rob, the location is in the UTC area where Lockheed Martin, Intuit, and DivX are located on Eastgate Mall. If this rings a bell, it is where MP3.com used to be. It is a perfect location for me since I happen to work for one of the companies so I am technically not trespassing (not that security has ever asked anyway). It is only good for daytime shots. The lights here suck for night.

I'll talk to the two J's to see what's crackin next month. Jay has had those wheels for quite some time now. It was just off his car for a while since he likes running the stock wheels with DR's instead of the HRE's.

Charles, I'll post up one of the originals for you once I get home. Eric uses either a Canon 1DMKII or 5D depending on the purpose of the shoot. I can't tell that big of a difference between the two other than the 5D files clogging up my hard drive a lot quicker. The D200 is an excellent camera. Stick with it and keep practicing. I wish I could switch to Nikon at times but I'm in too deep with Canon stuff.

Thanks Newton. Your stuff is top notch too. When is your site going to be back up for visitors? Eric has no problem disclosing what camera(s) he uses. The details are above in the response to Charles.

The grille is the stock C55 grille. The badge comes with hardware but will never fit without cutting. I used both industrial 3M double sided tape along with some hot glue for peace of mind. Others have gotten by with just the tape.



Whew! I think that covered all of the questions. Now time for one of mine: Where the heck is JAY???
