*** CF Tubes & Engine Cover ***
I thought it would be easier to do this as a poll so I could collect the member names easier than reading through posts...
This is for anyone who wants a CF Engine Cover and/or Intake Air tubes that purchased or wants to purchase the CF Airbox that was created.
If you vote, I am counting that as meaning that you will be willing to provide a 50% deposit in order to secure a spot in the production run.. Please dont vote unless you intend to purchase because I will be taking this list to the CF guys and see if they are willing to move forward with production based on the people that respond.

I'm quite interested to make sure we create AS LARGE a supply of air intake as possible to feed thru the filters. I've had experience seeing where you can actually "starve" the S/Charger of air by not supplying enough air intake.
Hence: even though the kompressor is spinning, you'll actually see less pressure than optimum.......Why do I say this??........................
There is a part of me that feels we may already be starving the Kompressor.
We have bigger pullies, bigger TB (80mm) and we may need to address the air intake supply to actually become larger.
Can we make sure we maximize the space available "pre-filter" to bring in as much supply air as possible?
......After all my pontificating....."Tubes and Cover" please

Ken,
I hear you loud and clear... My next step after the airtubes & engine cover is done is to look at doing something with the bottom section of the airboxes and redoing them in CF with some larger profiles.
The airtubes will be as enlarged as they can be to fit within the space. There are alot of hoses and other things on the driver's side which is why the factory makes a smaller crumpled version for that side of the car.
I am looking at replacing the piece in the grill if at all possible but I am not 100% sure yet. Once I see how many people are onboard I'll take it to the next step.

Ditto... the whole kit... I don't think you'll find many that want just one or the other by the looks at it. The bundle is the deal.
Now all we need to do is design a CLEAR hood so we can see all this marvelous beauty....

Just a thought??.......will the fact that some of us have RHD vehicles cause problems??..........or will this not be an issue??

Yikes... I never thought of that.. I dont think it causes a problem but I am not positive.. Can you take a couple of pics of your engine bay and get some close-ups of where the airtubes connect to the grille?? Email them to me or post them please..
Absolutely! They will fit but I dont know how close of a match the weave and the finish will be to your Renntech airbox... If I can find someone local that has that airbox I can check the weave and see how close they are.
I dont have pics yet because the product doesnt exist right now.. I posted pics of a sample airtube in the CF Airbox thread.. go to the last page and work your way backwards.. You'll see a pic of the black accordian style adapter and the CF tubes for another car.

Send me an email vrus1@hotmail.com... I'll put you into the first run group for the airbox.. There is a spot available.
BTW, if you have the Renntech 80mm TB on your car, we may have to do some adjustment to the neck of my airbox depending on how much material they put on the end of the S/C inlet to allow the 80mm TB to bolt up... In otherwords, I cant guarantee a 100% plug & play fit because I dont have a Renntech TB car to test with. It should bolt right up but I cant be positive until I see it with my own eyes.. the only issue is how long the neck is in conjuction with the mouth of the TB you have.
