E63 Service C?

Anyone know what Service C is? My car has 3500 miles on it and is 4.5 months old. It is now telling me that Service C is due in less than 30 days. I did have my 'service welcome' at 2000 miles. More importantly, how much is this service going to 'hurt'? Will call tomorrow to find out WTF.

Sounds like an error. Service C is extreme, and you shouldn't need service before 10K miles even if you drive it hard.

It's a mistake in the settings from factory. Have the dealership reset the service interval to show the correct time.

My CLS IWC showed Service C at 1200 miles. I changed everything for Service C, which is Service A + Service B = 6 hour labor minimum.

6 hours for a service "c"?? A "C" service for you 211 guys isn't much more than an "A" service on the older Benzes. It shouldn't be more than 1-2 hours labor.

Service C I got consists of basic maintanance like Engine Oil Drain/Fill up, Oil Filter change, Air Filter Change. Transmisison and Differential Oil Drain/Change and Coolant change and checking for its concentration, and some lengthy and thorough Star Diagnostics for all functions, Wheel Rebalance and alignment. TPM Monitor chech, SBC Brake pressure and wire check. Maybe my service center went overboard to do service C but I felt good. I left the car in the shop at 9 AM and picked it up at 4PM. There was only one master mechanic working on my car all day. so maybe that's why it took six hours then.

Just got off the phone and they say it is indeed an error. They claim the instrument cluster was not reset. They want me to come in and have that done. Will have them change the oil as well while I'm there, new engine and all. Thanks for the replies guys. Will let you know if they find anything different.
