Advice on 2004 E55

Hello to all. I am looking to joining the "family." I have my eye on a 2004 Black on black all options except distronic, CPO, 29k mi. Excellent condition at dealer. Price $49k. Tell me what ya' think? Good deal? This is my dream car for the time being. And I just had a birthday, so I'm looking for a present. I value everyone's input.

I have done alot of research in the past 6 months or so. That seems like a great deal from what I can tell. Go for it man.

It's a badass machine man.

If its in good condition with no stories the car is worth every penny at 49K. Heck, that's almost 50% off list in less than 3 years.

Advice on 2004 E55

The car is in GREAT condition. Clean CARFAX/AutoCheck. I hope to get all the details worked out sometime this week. This has been my dream car since Mercedes came out with the E50 with the Porsche-built engine. Exotic/sports performance in a luxury sedan. When I get it, I'll post some pics. Please keep posting. Thanks for the input.

Sorry man, that is too good to be true for a CPO car. If true, burn a path to that dealer and pick it up. You should be able to add two years to the warranty for $3500-4000. Do that too and you will still be ahead.

Let me know what you find. I am really getting tired of everyone saying they can find great deals on the e55. I have posted atleast 3 times challenging people to show me low mileage 2003 for 43k and under. So many on the board think they are everywhere. Been searching for a while and i never see them. So please someone show me an example. Either the 2003 or atleast the same deal this guy is getting on his.

That's one hell of a deal.

Make sure its not one of the cars that got sent back to MB under the Florida "lemon law". I've seen a few of those floating around.

If it is the geniune thing - you're $5-6,000 under market.

Guess I always assume something is wrong these days when the deal looks too good to be true.

From what I have read in my research, the Lemon Law cars do not qualify for a CPO warranty. But I agree, if it sounds too good to be true, make sure to check everything.

Im sorry. I misunderstood you. Its just that everyone on here is an expert and quoting prices that are a fantasy. I am really tired of everyone talking about cheap pricing. MAN I am so tired of searching for an e55. Dont want to overpay because I dont ever keep my cars more than year maybe year and half!

The fact that the rate of depreciation for the E55 scares the heck outta me. Next year we'll probably see a 04 E55 at 35,000.
