Ask JodyE55Rocket how ugly my M5 is, all the guys at the Yonkers meet were converted the instant they saw it.

Hell for all we know you're just a troll, where are the pics of your cars champ?

BTW, I'll blow the doors off any Syclone.
im not the jackass who started with the inches to your dic* statement. this is a fellow e55er who is choosing to mod his car. typically you either like it and post, or dont like it and either dont post or a simple not feeling it will suffice. and its more likely than not more people will say an m5 looks horrible. its ugly, its boxy, a look only a mom would love. and your still on and on about a friggin toyota, ha ha ha your funny. your statement on an e55 board where you dont even own one is in fact the definition of a troll. speaking of dic* talk you are so infatuated with some people choose to post a VERY LARGE SIG to compensate for something so very small!!! i prefer to keep my stable off line but a few people know what i got. and if all you got is posted???

Why are you taking so much interest in the size of my d!ck?

You realize you're the only person here making fun of my Supra, and if you're not going to post pics, then you're full of **** until you prove otherwise. ClayJ says the same exact thing.

As for my M5, the owner of this very board has one, how about them apples? And ugly or not, its still one of the best cars on earth.

I dont even bother manual shifting (paddles look great though). I actually considered disabling mine because my friends love driving my car, however in turns, they often accidentally hit the buttons. I dont want them to lose control or harm the engine.

It doesnt respond when you press the shift button??
That is weird. I just tried last night to test it out. Mine shift button works in ALL of the modes. M, S, and C. You should get it checked out.

Sorry, but I just had to bring up the point that the M5 is much more masculine of a car than an E55/E63. I've seen plenty of soccer moms driving around in their E55's but I've yet to see a woman driving an M5.

Paddle shifters look great and they're nice to show-off. It does kind of compensate for the fact that you have an automatic, like when a girl gets in your "500hp beast" (which I always call it) and they're like "ohhh....its not stick?" you can be like, "no because it has paddle shifters like the formula 1 cars have" I'm just being honest lol.

Hate to ask the obvious but are you sure its an '05. Mines and '03 and only button shifts in M mode. I'm not sure when they upgraded the electronics.

Buttons on the last 03 55 I drove only worked in Manual. Dealer said thats how it was. Haven't driven a newer one, but they probably changed at the 04 boundary

Cool If you blow a head gasket do you need a new Zylinder head

Same here, steering wheel buttons only work in "M" mode, mid 04 car. And the time from button depression to shift, nil, no delay, it is right now. (read don't down shift in rain) Speed of shift seems to be same as "S" mode, Just a side note, I think my car may be faster in "C" mode only like 2 flashes of the yellow triangle from 1-2 and 2-3. In the other modes she bangs in to gear and I get much more yellow time.

I think that's because the M5 is so farkin ugly. There are not many women, exept bull dykes, that would want to be seen in one.

Regarding Cylinder Head

just to let you know I think that the M% is one heack of a beast and superb alternative to teh E55/E63 - I for one have always enjoyed your posts here (cool Supra BTW) and as an ex E55 owner and a current CLS55 owner, I too agree that paddle shifters, while they might look great cosmetically, are going to do ABSOLUTELY ZERO in making our cars go any faster.

On the other hand we do have tons of members here that seem to hell bent on upgrading the appearance of their Benzes both interior and exterior - more power to them too!

And regarding the button/paddleshifters - on my 04 E55 the button shifters worked in all three modes as they do on my 06 CLS55
