What do you mean continuos chirping? It chirps when it detcts something and gets faster the closer you get. You can turn it off to avoid chirping.

Mine does this too at times. I know its not detecting anything. It'll chirp to a rhythm like every 2 seconds or so.

When it does that just turn it off and turn it back on and it will stop chirping periodically.

I have tried turning it off and restarting it. Doesnt work. The continuos chirpping is not like when it picks up a Ka band. It has this annoying high pictched beep beep beep. I read up on the K 40 website, it says that sounds indicates that the laser jammer is ON. Well, how the hell do I turn the jammer off. PLEASE HELP..

I dunno. Temporarily just turn down the volume and look for the blinking when it detects laser/radar

I do that and it gets rid of the noise for a couple of days or so. I thought the rhythmic beeps were indications of malfunctioning or something.

BTW blackbenzz, what ever happened to your boy Bmore

If you are not picking up radar, then you are probably picking up an automatic sliding door somewhere close by. Try putting the unit in highway mode rather than city mode and see if that reduces the false positives. Happy motoring.

If the unit is making a double beep the rear sensors connector is loose, if its a single beep the front sensors connector is loose. It can happen every once in a while and if some water got into the connection, it could cause the receiver not to work at all. hope this helps
