MD/DC/VA Track Day at MIR April 3rd!
I have a MiniDV Camera that I can bring.
blackbenzz,
Can you PM me your cell phone number? I'll do the same.
I won't be able to come in the morning, so I'll just be there for the afternoon and watch you guys run. I'll keep my "slow" SLK parked outside. :-)
The weather is "Mostly Sunny" for tomorrow, Tue April 3. See you all there!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
That is the beauty of Tivo you can watch it anytime. Now let us have it
2005 CL600 AMG tuned ECU/TCU
78 degrees farenheit ambient
19" front Michelin Pilot Sport 52 PSI
18" rear BFG drag radials 20 psi
1/4 tank 93/100 octane mix
If there is a big diff degrees wise that means that Front Mount is working lovely!

Ahmad, fill me in here... what was the BMW driver's name ?(black 3-series sedan, debadged)
Or better yet, Mr. BMW, you can introduce yourself when you read this post.
I am posting 3 still pics that I took... I also have some video, but it's really shaky... didn't realize how much hand shakes when holding a camcorder... thanks to Ahmad for recording my runs down the strip.
What are you waiting for to
that bad boy and be in the 10's?
No nitrous for this car ever, i would like to be the first Bi-Turbo 600 in the 10's on the motor alone. My car has stock airfilters and exhaust so theres a bit to play with there and on the traction end as well.
Shahed- His name is Stuart and he has a 330i. He is installing an ESS twinscrew supercharger, today was just for baseline runs. So if you see him in the street dont try to race him, lol
). I think if I get the powerbraking down right and cooler temps I can cut MAYBE a couple tenths off and get a higher trap. This was my face after I powerbraked to 1k rpm and it stuck
Lol, I even let off the gas, haha. 11.7 was with no poer brake. We need to pic a nice cool day so you can get into the 10's and I can break 11.5
What do you think about me trading the 55 for a custom widebody, single turbo, built motor, supra (And it has VOLKS!!!!!)?
I wish I could have made this one. MIR is such a good track compared to Capitol. I grew up at MIR...literally. At one point, in the late 70's/early 80's, my dad used to work there. He was real good friends with Todd Mack and became friends with Royce Miller. Old schoolers will remember that Todd Mack drove a car called "The Mack Attack". As a small boy, I actually got to turn wrenches on that car.
Anyway,
I've got the EXACT same granite in my kitchen. Gotta love the Giallo Veneziano.
Oh, and work on that reaction time

I just noticed the "NEED TAG BEFORE NEXT RUN" on your time slip, haha
