Nobody is gonna care man! I bet nobody would even notice. You're not running it anyway, just park it in the parking lot.

E55JAY,
I have a MiniDV Camera that I can bring.

blackbenzz,
Can you PM me your cell phone number? I'll do the same.

I won't be able to come in the morning, so I'll just be there for the afternoon and watch you guys run. I'll keep my "slow" SLK parked outside. :-)

The weather is "Mostly Sunny" for tomorrow, Tue April 3. See you all there!

I tied my record for quickest/fastest CLK55 at 11.7 @ 118 It was too hot out today to beat that time. E55Jay set a new record but I'll let him say exactly what. I got some video footage but I have to wait to get it off my boss's camcorder. Two of the most powerful BMW's in North America were there as well. The 996whp 328i had alot of trouble, broke a driveshaft (they actually went and bought one and installed it AT the track, lol), etc etc. The blue turbo M3 ran a 10.6 @ 141 mph on low boost and he wasnt even launching it hard (2.1 or 2 60' its easily a 9sec car). He has ~ 650whp. I wish the 328 could have gotten a full pass. Heres a video summary of his car for the day www.bmwturbo328.com/street/notgood.wmv I have better footage of the first pass, he goes almost completely sideways (his son was filming in the video and got scared which is why the camera drops). Next time will be even better But next time i'm taking deposits because once again I took a few hundred dollar hit because of no shows.

Wish I could have been there.. We are going to work on renting out Atco Raceway in South Jersey. Maybe you and some of the guys can make it up here. Can't wait to see the footage.

What would you say the temp was Ahmad compared to the first time you ran that(11.7@118mph) time?

If there is a big diff degrees wise that means that Front Mount is working lovely!

hey guys, it was my first time at MIR and my stock SLK350 actually posted a 13.99 time for the 1/4 mile... I got a BMW driver to yell out "f*ck! I can't believe your car is faster than mine".... so I think I succeeded at something today.

Ahmad, fill me in here... what was the BMW driver's name ?(black 3-series sedan, debadged)

Or better yet, Mr. BMW, you can introduce yourself when you read this post.

I am posting 3 still pics that I took... I also have some video, but it's really shaky... didn't realize how much hand shakes when holding a camcorder... thanks to Ahmad for recording my runs down the strip.

thanks man!

No nitrous for this car ever, i would like to be the first Bi-Turbo 600 in the 10's on the motor alone. My car has stock airfilters and exhaust so theres a bit to play with there and on the traction end as well.

I think with air filters, exhaust work, better temps, and a better 60' you will be in the 10's for sure Again congrats on a good run.

Last time I ran was November 24th. So it was deifinitely at least 30 or so degrees cooler the first time. I think the exhaust may have decreased power so I'm looking into getting cutouts. I may just be done drag racing

Shahed- His name is Stuart and he has a 330i. He is installing an ESS twinscrew supercharger, today was just for baseline runs. So if you see him in the street dont try to race him, lol

I'm always open to good ideas (no nitrous, wellll just maybe ). I think if I get the powerbraking down right and cooler temps I can cut MAYBE a couple tenths off and get a higher trap. This was my face after I powerbraked to 1k rpm and it stuck Lol, I even let off the gas, haha. 11.7 was with no poer brake. We need to pic a nice cool day so you can get into the 10's and I can break 11.5 What do you think about me trading the 55 for a custom widebody, single turbo, built motor, supra (And it has VOLKS!!!!!)?

I wish I could have made this one. MIR is such a good track compared to Capitol. I grew up at MIR...literally. At one point, in the late 70's/early 80's, my dad used to work there. He was real good friends with Todd Mack and became friends with Royce Miller. Old schoolers will remember that Todd Mack drove a car called "The Mack Attack". As a small boy, I actually got to turn wrenches on that car.

Anyway,

I've got the EXACT same granite in my kitchen. Gotta love the Giallo Veneziano.

Oh, and work on that reaction time

I just noticed the "NEED TAG BEFORE NEXT RUN" on your time slip, haha

You were trapping better in the 1/8th than some cars were trapping in the 1/4!

No way on selling the CLK its too rare and there is more in that car with a few minor tweaks and nitrous is not an option. HAHA i didnt notice that on the slip, I had my tag off for "insurance" purposes
