Creaky,near "C" pillar Pano roof?

Creaky,near "C" pillar Pano roof?
Have any of you had an issue with this? Dealer says they must
repair spotwelds inside the roof? This done by drilling out spotwelds
to access welds INSIDE the roof.Seems a service bulletin is out there.
also talk about injecting foam?)This is my first try here have had car only a short time. thx

My pano used to creak when it's below 40 degrees for about a minute or two when I first get going.
Have the dealer lubricate it when you take it in. Cured mine.

yeah, i am thinking when the car gets warmer, the parts either expand and fit tighter so they dont creak, or they get warmer and more flexible so they dont creak. there is a service bulliten i think on this but i dont know anyone that has gotten it.

There is a 20 or so page bulletin about noises with panoramic roofs from lubing specific points to tightening the sunroof tray itself to the body- it all depends on when the noises occur-also the felt seal around the glass will make noises when the body flexes if wax gets on it which is pretty easy to do.

i had the creaking....the dealership replaced the entire pano roof....it solid now. used to creak going over uneven surfaces on the road. Would not get the pano roof again
