Does this seem too cheap to anyone?
I'm finally in the market for an E55 and damn excited too! Came across this local E55 at an MB dealership where I've bought 3 MBs from in the past, however the price tag caught my eye. My price range that I'm looking for is probably between $50 - $55k and was hoping at best for an '04. I searched for other '05s and they're well into the $60's. NADA and KBB say retail value for this car is in the mid 60's, checked both Carfax and Autocheck and both come up with a clean record for this car. Doesn't this price seem to good to be true? I'll call tomorrow, but wanted to know what you guys think. Could it be because this E55 isn't fully optioned?

here are the latest Manheim numbers: For Week Ending Mar 7
Mercedes Benz E55 AMG 2005
Above average= $61,421 Mileage 12k
Average= $53,306 with 23k miles
Below Average= $45191 with 34k miles
BTW, thanks for the help
My search continues....
I just sealed a deal for an '05 designo 16K all options except distronic & rear sunshade for a tick more than the asking price of the E55 shown above.
This is what I think (at least I used it to negotiate the price):
'04 loaded w/ <30K: $50-55K.
'05 loaded w/ <20K: $55-60K.
'06 loaded w/ <15K: $60-65K.
If not loaded, I substract couple grand.

If you are in the West Coast MOD NIRVANA area where there are an abundance of vehicles, you can pick and choose. Here in Chicagoland we see more vehicles with AMG badges with tape on crooked.
I am at the point of flying out west to see Vladim, at least he knows the vehicle better than these guys here.

Makes me want the car even more
There are some E55s for sale here in my price range, however they're at used car dealerships such as Luxury Motors.....I refuse to buy a car from these people.

Didn't buy my car here, but do have it serviced by them.

I could get an '05 E55 CPO ~33k miles (a little high, I know, but it's CPO) w/ parktronic, NAV, xenon and dynamic seat for $57K. Best of all, it's CA car - should not have seen any snow or salt. No need to negotiate.... unless of course you want it lower.
Let me know or PM me if you want to get it.
Thanks again!
