So much business you need to turn away customers... hahah

I have a question... related to the rear lip...

What the heck is the difference in the CF front lip? I see them all over at various prices...

like this one??? I have a plain E350... so it would fit? What does this mean; PUR with REAL carbon fiber laminated?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW

Thanks... oh and.. did you ship yet? HAHAH JK.

Any plans for a non-CF lip for those of us who want to paint it and therefore don't want the additional cost of CF?

The carbon lip will only fit W211s with the AMG front bumper.

I was thinking same thing but this auction clearly states NON AMG. Since I have the NON Beast... I thought I was in luck... is this auction junk then?

THanks,
Anthony

btw... I would be interested if anyone had the front lip... not just the ebay place.....

Since my car is only a V6... I need all the help I can to appear to be going fast... hahah... AMG ENVY.... that should be on my plate... heehe

Oops, sorry, I thought you meant the one that Neal sells.

The one that posted will probably fit the non-sport (non-Avantgarde) W211s.

How much are you thinking about spending? How about swapping in the new E63 front bumber and grill then debadge your car.

I thought you needed fenders and a few other things to get the 63 bumper to fit...

Not sure for the E350 but for the E55, we will only need the bumper and the grill from what I have read so far.

I think I have seen someone swap in the front of the E55 onto a E350 as well.

Cheers

Well first of all there are tons of replicas of ours selling on ebay. (it happens fast!).

That lip pictured will fit an E350 if you have that bumper. A place we work with overseas actually made that lip using a similar style as our lips. I had a few here but sold it. We never really got into selling those. I can probably get one if you really wanted.

The lips are fiberglass with a carbon fiber overlay.

Thanks everyone. I really like that lip... so C230, please PM me for details.

I don't think I would ever debadge a car b/c whenever I see one.. I think.. "man... are they trying to pretend it is an AMG... M5... etc..." Again... that is just me... no insult to those that do it.

The bumpers would be sweet... but the car is RENTED... so.. you know.

there's a car posted here a while ago that had the conversion done and it looked like they only need to replace the grille, foglights, and bumper cover.

Fast Cars!
Update for everyone. The spoilers are now completed, we are just putting the 3M tape on them as I type this. They will be shipping out on Monday. Everyone will get a tracking # emailed to them when it ships.

I have 2 important things for everyone to follow when they get this.

1. Before you install the spoiler, hold it up to the car and see what it covers, then use rubbing alcohol and clean the edge of the trunk lid where this will stick on with the alcohol. If you do not do this it will not stick good or it will eventually start lifting. If you do clean the edge with rubbing alcohol it will last perfect the life of the car. This thing REALLY sticks on there. It attaches with the same OEM 3M tape Mercedes uses.

2. When peeling off the film on the tape so you can stick it on, do not use your finger nail or anything to try to peel the film off the tape or it will start lifting off the spoiler, use a knife or razor blade to lift the edges so they do not lift.

That's about it! Its very simple other wise, but as long as everyone follows those instructions, it will fit snug and last forever!

0. Remember to paint the spoiler prior to the steps above!

Thanks for the product and can't wait to get it.

Am I the only one in the DC/Maryland/Va area to get one of these? If there is anyone else, please email or PM me. We can all go together to a body shop to get them painted at the same time. Maybe a group discount will be possible.

Can I wet the trunk a little before so that it does not stick immediadetly or will that ruin the tape?

LMAO! Oh yeah! don't forget about that minor step! LOL

If some of you are having a body shop paint this and install it for you. Be sure to relay those 2 steps to them. Even though you may think they know, its better to be safe then sorry.

Yes, its a good idea to, i mist the trunk lid with water or quick detailer after you already cleaned it with alcohol. But even after you mist it, dab it almost dry with a towel, it BAIRLY needs to be wet, its its to wet it wont stick. Try to also keep it more to the middle and not right at the very ends of the spoiler.

Recieved mine as well. Paint work scheduled next week.

Now a few performance questions..
1.How much horsepower can I gain from this add on?
2. If attached properly, it won't blow off at 120 right?

THANKS
