The World’s Only Turbocharged V10 M5

Currency Motor Cars is proud to introduce the first of an unprecedented line of supercars. This flagship model is an ingeniously modified 2006 BMW M5 that can reach a top speed of 240 mph. This makes it the fastest, most powerful luxury 4-door sedan on the planet. CMC co-founder, Ron Cash, has brilliantly outfitted BMW’s compression V-10 engine with twin-turbo chargers and a custom inter-cooler system to kick out an astonishing 800+ horses.

No one in the world has been able to achieve this...until now.

This is the only car of its kind. The mind-boggling power of this vehicle is complimented by the exquisite alterations of it's interior. The leather in the steering wheel, arm rests and dash is the same as the leather in the seats. Fully aniline dyed Florida Crocodile in black. Only the finest suede and leathers have been used, much like the old Delahaye and Bugatti roadsters in the 1930's.

This custom interior is all meticulously hand stitched, designed and installed by Judy Amic-Angelo, one of the the most respected product designers in the country.

Very cool car but 350k? I would have to imagine you could build it for a lot less so why the crazy high price tag? Also, at 12.1 compression how much boost can you really run and be safe? I would imagine that motor has to be ready to go booooom!

I never really understood rear-mounted turbos. Won't you loose boost if the turbos are so far away? I've heard of their benefits, but I just don't really know how it all works out.

I'd imagine STS would jump at the chance to do this for a fraction of the cost of these guys. It's funny how they take a $7,000 STS turbo system and mark it up $200,000. I'd imagine that STS would do the first one for way less than $20K and then would sell the kit for under $8,000 all day long to any M5 owner that wanted one.

The funny thing is that when you are starting with 500 hp it only takes 7 psi and a good intercooler to make 810 hp. The E63 guys could have some big fun with this system. Contact these guys for more information:

MikeRPA:

Sorry, my friend, but the last time I checked this car could not even idle. Let alone make it to the dyno on it's own.

Do not believe PRESS RELEASES.

Just because someone says - "it's Alive!!!!!!" Does not mean it is true.

If you DO believe this..................................... I have a bridge for sale. Very long and low usage .....................

I will let it go for a very low $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The big markup is to cover the cost of the fine for using the hide of an animal that's protected by the Endangered Species Act. Their literature claims the leather is from an American Crocodile. There are fewer than a thousand of these creatures remaining. Sheeesh.

Lets see 12:1 compression + turbo's = blown engine ... simple as that - even with mild boost.

So lets just say - hypothetically of course - by some miracle the motor runs ... then for sure the tranny will go as there is no way the 7sp SMG box will cope with ~700ftlb of torque - most of them struggle with the ~360 odd from the stock M5.

I would not pay $350,000 to see an engine / tranny blow up - but at least you will have a good view on the comfortable "fabulous" interior ...

Only way it might be worth the money is if it came with a lifetime warranty on ALL parts.... and acutally even if it did - it would be in the shop all the time so I just dont see the point ...

Oh yeah and I have not got to the poor croks yet!!!!
