2007 SL55 Renntech Stage 3
Quaife LSD
Looking for an installer for Quaife LSD on my SL55 in Houston area. Anyone have any experience with a shop they would recommend? You think the MB dealer might be willing to do this install?

unless it's a mod friendly delaership, most dealers won't even touch it with a yard stick..... is there a KLEEMMANN or RENNtech dealer in your area? they might be worth a try.

my friend that is a tech for MB said they dont change them out if the stock rear end has a problem they just change the whole thing.

The MB dealer is a Renntech dealer and did my Renntech install. I suppose that makes them mod friendly. I will call them and see what they say.
Anyone use a shop in Houston they would like to recommend?

MB Techs are definitely trained on it. I would trust the ones i know with anything on my car. Looks like you are already setup, but I do remember hearing about mod friendly dealers in your area and they would indeed do it. Also, consider NOT using a tuning shop and using a shop that specializes in trannys and diffs instead. you may need to have to have the dealer pull the pumpkin out and send it to them. That way each does what they are good at.
