05 E55 Tpms

Hi,
I have an 05 e55 AMG with TPMS. I just put a set of 20" Mayas on it and removed the TPMS because the way the wheels were made I could not put the Sensors back on. I got a red Display when I first started up the car. I cleared that and thought everything was OK, but now the Radio will not come on!!! Whats the deal?? Is there anyway I can completely disable the TPMS so my radio will work again??? This is driving me crazy!

I don't think the tpms has to do anything with your radio malfunctioning. I took 4 of the sensors out on my 20s because it got crushed. It'll give a message "Tire....drive to a workshop", I just ignored it. Some one told me that you can bypass tpms via Star Diagnostic, don't know if it's true though.

Update: Got the sensors on, but I cannot get the system to reactivate. I tried resetting it with the reset button , but had no luck. Is there a trick to this??

Also, What is up with the radio?? All I get is the MB logo on the screen when I start up and the Instrument panel says: "Please Wait" and then goes to "----" When it is on the Audio screen....Any thoughts on how to reset the radio from you guru's??

the TPMS and radio do not have anything to do with each other. It looks like your fiber loop is open. Something must have been unplugged or you blew a fuse.

As for TPMS, if you mixed up the sensors, it will take 20-30 miles of driving to display again.
