Thericker, good to meet you. awesome vette, very tastefully done. Sorry for not meeting you on Sat., we agreed there was a misunderstanding, I thought you had other plans in LA (based on you telling me youre coming out regardless cause you have plans
), so thought it was no big deal. I never flake on anything when someone is depending on me, as I told you; I wouldve riden my bike to meet you if I knew that I was the only reason youre coming down.

I was thinking the same thing. This guy is like superman. Racing, filming .. but then that's what's awesome about the AMG cars, you can race, talk on the phone, and film the whole thing all at once while changing CDs.

Well Coolcamden? Now do you believe some of the Vette kill stories posted here? This race confirms the E55 is faster than the C6 or at least it was on this night and in this video. Thericker nice race man, on the last one it was nearly even. Check your tires. Also get someone else to film and go to a drag strip to be safe.

yes last race was best/most even start, I did loose traction badly vid doesn't show it..But Vadim saw it and commented about my fishtailing on last race on cell phn remember? none the less E55k>C6 ****z fast! Vadim thanks for stepping up! AMG rox! Did you get our 1st race? b4 we saw the cop that one was near dead even I thought (Maybe wishful thinking, looks like the best I coud do was hold at 3/4 of a car length?) also I stuck to the rear 1/4 of Vadims Merc up to 140kms of coarse

up to 140It fishtailed, but I was determined to hold her down, I didn't let up.
Deff heading to a 1/4 track soon!
PS..Not to beat a dead horse, but when tuner removed torque management, he fukd up my rev limitter, I kept hitting that damned thing

Hehe, sean..you sure it is just traction issues due to power and not those leafy springs? Come down and lets have a real run around palomar. Just straights isn't where its at.

i really had nothing to do w/ it, it was really all the 55k
i just kept my foot down, steered and tried to get the other car on cam (it was just the 2 of us, no one else to record, somebody had to do it)

This race has me thinking....Some of you remember I beat Falco from this board SLK55 freeway rolls very similar, but nothing below 60mph, anyhow the SLK55 is supposed to run 12.70 @ 110-112
Only mod since that run has been torque management removal, I pulled Falco way worse than Vadim pulled me, just saying You've got one damn strong E55k there!

Dude, we had this discussion before. Quit making assumptions based on published 1/4mile times. The SLK55 is NOT supercharged. Don't confuse it with an E55, which was marketted as the "slowest" 55K due to price. Vadim's car is just a car. You'll get spanked by ANY E55.

talker! calm down, I was just commenting as you commented on how your FACTORY E55K beat a Kleemann 2 E55k they have a wide swing in power ratings from the factory! Also, you call a 3/4 length "SPANKED?" that was the best I did, then the other best was about 2 lengths and I held there the entire way? chilly ***** guy

Tell you what bro, any day this week (with the exception of wednesday) I'll meet you half way (Im in Newport) with the 63. I invite others to come to film it cause I am just not good at holding the camera pointing backwards and racing like Vadim is.
I'll bet you a steak dinner that same night, best of three runs from dead stop.
