Brabus E55

I dont post here much as my dad owns the E55 in the family, but i lurk here a lot and im constantly reading about the ASP Pully's, and the Evosport Package's and all that good stuff and it got me wondering what The brabus K8 Package actually comes with. If im not mistaken, the asp pully is a supercharger pully? I was wondering if the K8 package had a modified supercharger pully and if it was possible to install an ASP pully if not. Im trying to convince my dad to give me the E55 since we both want to get a new car and im just trying to gather a little bit of info on the 55K motor and the best way to modify them. Thanks again

thanks for the link but that really dosent describe what the K8 Motor Package includes. My dad only has the motor, not the wheels or anything else

The asp pulley is the crank pulley i believe. And if you have K8, wow it should be a beast..... Plus I believe the tune of the car is for brabus K8 so if you add or delete some things it could cause a negative affect.

I think the K8 only includes the ECU and a pulley.

I wouldn't "cross the streams" when it comes to power packages. That sounds like a very dangerous proposition. If anything I'd get a cooling package like the Evosport unit and smooth out your power band a bit.

Ohh ahha my bad. Sounds powerful though huh? K8!! I mean Kleemann K1 is ECU and pulley.. so i just figured.. ANyways my bad...

Brabus specializes in making CARS, not tuning packages. Their expertise lies in completely reworking an entire car from the ground up. I think there are a great many alternatives that are much more economical with just as much bang if not more, EVO and Kleemann being two of them.

ya that kinda fooled me also i dont know what barbus offers so when you said K8 i was thinkin twinturbos jet motors and crazy things like that.

K8 Brabus mean ECU , crank pulley , cooling system and 2 cover on the top with red paint that replace the OEM AMG one.

so theres only a crank pully and no S/C pully? if thats the case, then which S/c pully would you guys reccomend?
