K2 vs K1

I have to Thank Cory at Kleeman for all his help. I had asked him to put in the K2 tune in my non headered vehicle thinking "bigger is better"......not so....that only works for me now in bra sizes.

Anyway the violent surging was due to having the K2 tune when I should have had the K1. The last dyno made more power but had big time dips and after driving the vehicle for a while it was obviously due to detonation. The violent surging was the supercharger coming on and the ECU must have been shutting it down or really clamping down on the timing.

So now she runs MUCH smoother....no surging and actually it pulls harder thru the gears......not the hard initial acceleration but what good is it if the ECU shuts it down. Kleeman reflashed it and shipped it back the next day.....no charge!

Again, Cory thanks for your help......you are the bomb!

So it wasn't the pulley? Good to know that it all worked out.

So if a bigger pulley will work with the K1 program why didn't Kleemann make their pulleys larger.
