I would like to tag along if not a problem. Last Friday I was the only E63/E55 there.

Are you in nj or ny? The reason I'm asking is because the nyc guys usually meet up and head down together...

quick questions
guys,
i am in NYC as well but i have never been to a 1/4 track before and don't really have any idea what the procedure / protocol is. i found the e-town raceway website but it's not working for some reason.
quick questions:
1) do i need to bring my own helmet?
2) how much does it cost? is it per run or per entrance?
3) how much does it cost to be a spectator at the stand if i don't run?
thanks.

Here are the answer to your questions.
1) do i need to bring my own helmet?
You can either bring your own "snell" approved helmet or purchase one at the track ($120)
2) how much does it cost? is it per run or per entrance?
$35 to race for the whole day.
3) how much does it cost to be a spectator at the stand if i don't run?
Between $10-$15
Englishtown's website is http://www.racewaypark.com
It's tons of fun. Ask anyone on the forum about their experience at the drag stip. Come out you won't regret it.

2. You pay at the entrance. Believe $25-30 dollars to race. At least on a FRi. Weekend fees might be different.
3. Spectator is cheaper. Don't know how much, I always race so never really noticed.

1. Yes you do. They just changed the requirements of the helmets. It has to meet new Snell ratings. Believe at least 100. You can also purchase a helmet there.

You can't rent a helmet there anymore?

You can rent a helmet but if you run faster than 13.99 you need a snell approve helmet. The helmet that are available to rent are not snell approved. This is a new rule that I learned after my first pass down the track this year . Oh yeah, are you coming?
