TB take apart?

Hi all, I'm trying to install my VRP airbox and wanted to know how to take the big rubber piece off the TB? It looks glued on and I don't wanna mess with it.

I left mine on, it fit fine. You have stock TB or one of the 80mm?

It'll fit without taking it off. Another forum member in the Airbox thread did it, thats where I got the idea from. Mine had some kind of epoxy on it. Would have been darn near impossible to get it off.

Rubber cover is epoxied on. You will not be able to take it off without destroying it.

Thanks for the help, fellas. Mine is epoxied, so no tearing it off. We did a test fit and it does go on. Its nice and snug, but there is room.
my wizard took the airbox bottoms out and installed the entire piece as one (top and bottom), instead of having to bolt it on in place.
This is all short term, anyway just to get some dyno and butt dyno done. I'll be bumping to an 80mm TB soon.
