ANY PICTURES of E55 with E63 RIMS (STYLE VI)?

Hi!

Anyone got pictures of the E55 (black?) with style VI E63 rims. I am wondering which looks better. The original style III 18 inch rims or the new style VI 18 inch rims?!

Standard is style IV and I'd take it since you can go wider and keep the OEM look. Personally, I'd be leary of spending too much on a cast setup. Other than that, I like th erefreshing look on the 63.

Sorry, what do you mean by OEM-look (original equipment manufacturer??)? I also dont understand what do you mean by wider. I took pics from both rims on the mercedes-amg.com, where they say its the style III for the original. I also thought it is style IV. However, It also says you can fit the same width of tires for both rims. There should be no difference...

The OEM E55 rims are all style IVs. The style III is in your picture, but not the big one. It is the 5 spoke you have that was available on the AMG kits for the normal Es.

The tire size is the same between the OEM E55 and E63, but the front rims on an E63 are 8.5 inches wide vs the 8 inchers on the E55. Both rears are 9 inch.

By OEM look, I meant I run 9 inch rims in the front and 9.5 inch rims in the rear. All are AMG Style IVs, so the car looks stock, but has wider rims and tires.

Good luck.

Where did you get the 9.5 rims for the rear? Also if you dont mind me asking, what tire sizes are you running?

Why would I mind, bro? They are from an '07SL550. 18X9.5et33, then I shaved an extra 4mm off the inner face making it an et37. Tires: 295/30/18 with no rubbing at all! I run the E55 rear rims on the front.

My E55 2 pc titaniums

Here are my 19" E55 2 pc titanium wheels. They look exactly like the SL65 rims but have 211 part numbers. They were a Euro E55 option. The offsets are perfect. I like the look of these better than the E63's ... but both are very nice.

I have a set of SL65 Rims for sale if your interested. They are 19x10's in the rear which is wide.... Let me know if your interested. Exactly the same as the above post but instead of polished mine are two toned...
