4th gear tranny resync (E55), ever heard of it???
Totally forgot to mention this when I got the latest mods done last year.
You gotta work with me on the exactly what this is called, but I think he said it was a tranny resync. He said, they basically take the car in M mode and get it up to 4th gear, then take their foot off the pedal and let the car decelerate to near stop. Claimed the tranny "relearned something" but I forgot if it was just a sync from battery disconnect or is this some type of reset of tranny shift patterns.
Anyone ever heard of this 4th gear thing??
Like sneaky ECU reset, worth the ole college try. If it's just a resync issue like the sunroof etc, course it be worthless.
