It's called renntech stage 5, lol!!! all I had was ASP pulleys at that time....not much of a comparison and on top of that add 20 inch rims with zero neros that won't grip even in my life depended on it.

That is what I was going to say "E350". But I decided to give the housewife that is driving the E a break. I think she did quite well against the M5. I don't know how she managed to feed that baby, put on her make up, do her hair, talk on the phone and only give up two lengths. I think she keyed the M5 at the mall with her 5 carat diamond ring.

If you guys see properly at the beginning of the video, there was no "6.3 AMG" badge on the side of the car and the front bumper is definitely not an E63 bumper. It is the AMG bumper of a sport packaged E-class. The bumper of an E63 is much more aggressive and more "squarish".

have any of you 55/63 guys out is the US considered making some decent "Gustav" style vids of amg vs m? Im sick of seeing his clinical videos that show a top AMG being walked everytime by these M's! Even worse is hearing all these guys claiming stock M5's hosing supposedly modded 55's! So much BS surrounding these two rival car makers.

I have a good friend w/ an M5. it's only a matter of time before we do all this.
I am 100% convinced that from 0 mph, I will be much faster (since I've owned both cars), but yes, up top he will start to catch up.
I think we'll do our videos and likely not get much faster than 100 mph b/c we're not street racers.
What I'd like to do is get him to go w/ me to the 1/4 mile track. I've never done it and neither has he. It would be awesome.

how they run on a piece of road where there aren't any cars....you can clearly see in the second video that the e55 had a car in front of him at the beginning and therefore couldn't go all out...

This is a damn good idea. Once my car gets broken in, I'll create an account at the M5 board and see if anyone over there lives in my town so we can head to the local drag strip.

Just painful. A lot of BMW guys (there are good one's out there, too) always rub me wrong (like a ton of stuff in that post).
Major reason I have never been able to pull the trigger on a BMW (chose a GS400 over a 540 sport and chose the E55 over the M5).

The last race was with the traction control OFF on both cars. Funny how the M5 got a 1 car lead and the CLS ate it up the rest of the race (so much for the 30+MPH "roll" theories like they show on the M5 board Gustav races, too)...
