Pretty much self explanitory...I'm thinking of buying one....what's the damage at the pump like? Obviously for the people that can't keep their foot out of the firewall it will be different.

My avg is 17 ... with ASP pulley ... with normal pulley it was 18 ...

Highway now can get close to 20 ...

But seriously you should not be using gas milage as a consideration to buy this car ... I think you can get 300-350 miles on a full tank...if u baby it... but how many people baby their beasts? ))

I think I cud get ... 22-3 if I drove like a granmother at 65mph. At this speed S/C will grow some cobwebs though ...

Typically I drive 80-90 and get 18-19 on freeway. But there are at least 4-5WOT blasts included in that sample...

New passengers exclaim....

"WoW! You must be drinking gas driving like that"

I drive highly spiritedly and get high 14s-15mpg.

well, the wagon is heavier, right? plus, you may have junk in your trunk that weighs it down more.

Amoco ultimate 93 oct.

Highway 19.9 @ 74 mph, crusise control, A/C on, Florida turnpike, temp 80 F, windows up, no baggage, 1000 mile average.

In town 12-13 mpg A/C on all the time.

My driveway 2 mpg A/C on, yellow triangle on.

Trips to Vegas net me 22 MPG, however regular mixed driving I get 14-15 MPG. I only drive it on weekends though and I am usually driving fast. But honestly if one can afford an E55, does the gas expense matter?

Who cares about gas mileage when you are driving such a great car!

My Z06 greats about 22mpg in the city and 28-30mpg on the highway. Almost an economy car lol.

I spend about $59~ every 2.5 days, about 247~miles for the full tank. I actually should start driving my dd, gas is ridiculous, but just can't get enough of the beast.

Yeah... 14-15 spirited driving.... 16-17 non-spirited driving

Don't compare to vette.... it's a fluke for big displacement engine

Not too good! The interesting thing is that it does not seem to matter if I am always "in it" or "out of it" I always get the same driving range (+/_ 5 miles to the tank)...

I would be interested to see gas drip to about $1.50 a gallon, though

as others have said, I didn't buy it for the mileage though

13.5 in the city.
20 on the highway....unless I'm in a hurry to get back home from So. Utah. We've made some pretty good time on that trip.

Man you are too slow (i am joiking)..when I used to leave in UK...it took me 23 minutes to get from London to Oxford I had C36 at that time...

I get about 380-400km out of the tank...but our roads are wide...its usssual that I go over 100-110 every day...my beast like it

What is gas mileage? Honestly, I didn't even consider gas mileage when I was looking at a 55k. When I get down to two bars left on the gas guage I fill it up.

The difference between 14mpg and 21mpg is 50% right? So that means if you fill up a 14mpg car every week ($60, for our ROW friends it's even much more!) then you would fill up a 21mpg car every 10 days, so you would go through one tank more per month in a 14mpg car than a 21mpg car.

So ask yourself, would you pay for an extra tankfull of gas every month to drive an E55 or any other 55k car? I would say HEYL YEAH !!

Just my .02

^^^ +1

When you actually calculate the true additional dollar spent, it seems very small.... a little saving in my starbucks & dine-out expenses should offset the difference way more than enough.

You lack the 6-spd. The manual C6 uses the T56 right? Throw that mother in 6th, and it will idle at 70 mph. lol
