command reset procedure

I think/hope my command unit just needs to be reset, but I misplaced the comand manual.

Can someone tell me what the reset procedure is ?

Hit the SERV button, then on the right side it'll say reset, press reset, then it'll ask you yes/no, select yes.

Can I ask why you're doing a reset?
What does resetting actually achieve?

Resetting puts all the command settings back to their factory defaults...ie you lose all the settings YOU have made/changed.
