We all know that China is the factory of the world nowadays, so if you could find a deal, count me in, can't really justify paying 10K+ for an exhaust system....

I don't know if headers are worth talking about any more after that picture!
Anyway, they do look like manifolds. If you guys think they look like an they're the E55s it's easy to find out. My stock manifolds are off my car at in someone else’s possession. You can get an E63 gasket and see if it fits on the E55 manifold.

Just wanted to share this info which some of you might have already read.
More Power for 63 AMG Engines???????!!??!?
Adds up to 35 Hp and 40 Nm.
The KLEEMANN Exhaust Headers remove exhaust backpressure allowing the engine to breathe freely and thereby produce more power.
Supercharged as well as normally aspirated engines will benefit from the use of KLEEMANN high flow Headers.
The new headers feature primary tubes with a diameter increase of 28 mm compared to the standard product. Furthermore the down pipes´ diameter has been increased with another 28 mm for an optimized air flow all the way out to the 200 cell metal cats. Both headers and down pipes are made from high quality stainless steel.
The result is an increase in power output of approx 7% or up to
35 Hp and 40 Nm of torque
.
Contact your local dealer to put your
name
on a set of the new headers for your 63 AMG.

Wow.. I can't believe they made a log style manifold... If the hp & tq increases that they quote are realistic then what would a proper, equal length header produce??? I can't believe that this would be the optimal configuration...

Its obviously not, I think anyone with even rudimentary knowledge of how to get more power out of a car would agree that this setup is a sham.

The pics were taken with my phone, not a camera. Of course they were ****e. We had no intentions of having a photoshoot with 3 nubile chicks, it just happened and I knew I had to document it or nobody would believe me. We met them outside a Rangers game. Thank the good lord for ice hockey.

That's the first thing I thought....looks like a shiney exhaust manifold to me. The point of a header is to utilize individual primary exhaust tubes rather than the IMMEDIATE 4 into 1 design of a factory exhaust manifold. I just don't see how in the world these could make 35hp more than a factory manifold, I'll believe it when I see it!

My sentiments exactly, that's a manifold, not a set of headers.
If you guys want some real performance and bang for your buck, rather than being gouged by the criminals who are trying to pass this POS off as a piece of quality work, wait for some equal length tubular headers.
The Klee boys just lost major points in my book.

That's it, no tuning involved, just improved airflow due to more space. Obviously the designer had just finished the first chapter in "Hooked on Physics"

You can say that all you want, but the simple fact is you are NOT going to move exhaust gas as fast in an immediate 4-into-1 design like a factory manifold as you are with a tuned equal length header...it's just NOT going to happen. Yes those "headers" may outflow the stock manifold, but they will not outflow a true equal length header, that is physics.

Hello Again- back under a new name since ADMIN shut me down on the old one.
In any case- about the headers:
Point taken about the semantics surrounding the name- I will see to it we change our communications to reflect "manifold" not "header" in the USA.
Ultimately you are paying for what a product DOES. Our manifold comes with a down pipe that includes a 200 cell metal CAT. This combination of two parts eliminates the entire length of small diameter pipe that is the primary pumping restriction in the exhaust system.
Any sexy multi-piece header that bolts to the stock down pipe does not address the other 1/2 of the 47 mm restriction- their gains will be similarly low.
The choice had to be made : looks vs performance and high vs low price. The choice was made to produce a part that had the maximum gain at the lowest possible end user price, in my opinion that equals value for your money. It also represents the widest possible market appeal for us as a tuner.
The USA is a entirely different market from the rest of the world- there are many product choices, consumers do their research and ask questions and the price to performance ratio is critical. I have spent the last 6 years listening to the accolades and complaints about our products and with this new line of product am attempting to listen to our customers and give them what they request. Perhaps I have missed the mark in this case.
As for the cheeky comments on "Hooked on Physics" I will have you know I have just completed part 2 of that series on my iPod- my reading skills are not so hot.
