Exclamation Kleemann Headers for the AMG 63 (M156)

Just wanted to share this info which some of you might have already read.

More Power for 63 AMG Engines

Adds up to 35 Hp and 40 Nm.

The KLEEMANN Exhaust Headers remove exhaust backpressure allowing the engine to breathe freely and thereby produce more power.
Supercharged as well as normally aspirated engines will benefit from the use of KLEEMANN high flow Headers. KLEEMANN Headers are available for most V6 and V8 engines - both the 24/32 valve (M272/M273) generation – as well as the older 18/24 valve (M112/M113) generation.
Now KLEEMANN introduces a high flow exhaust Header system for the mighty AMG 63 (M156) engine.

The new headers feature primary tubes with a diameter increase of 28 mm compared to the standard product. Furthermore the down pipes´ diameter has been increased with another 28 mm for an optimized air flow all the way out to the 200 cell metal cats. Both headers and down pipes are made from high quality stainless steel.

The result is an increase in power output of approx 7% or up to 35 Hp and 40 Nm of torque.
The new headers are available for the E and CLS as well as ML and R-Class models.

Contact your local dealer to put your name on a set of the new headers for your 63 AMG.

My sentiments exactly, that's a manifold, not a set of headers.

If you guys want some real performance and bang for your buck, rather than being gouged by the criminals who are trying to pass this POS off as a piece of quality work, wait for some equal length tubular headers.

The Klee boys just lost major points in my book.

What is the pricing going to look like for these things?

At least they're considered the direct competitor of the 63s

The stock headers are pretty good but the Supersprint one is just out of this world......

Agreed. I actually found out some lovely stuff about Supersprint, for example who runs their manufacturing facility in China (gasp!! yes they outsource their manufacturing to asia and then slap an SS on the parts when they arrive in europe). Someone you guys know might be starting up their own performance company soon and getting some really sweet deals on parts that are otherwise prohibitively expensive............

Copyright infringement?

Are the SS parts made in China now? That sounds kinda cheap IMHO

That is a manifold, that in no way should be confused with a tuned header. From the looks of it I think you got the picture of a manifold for a twin turbo set up.

Cheap for them, expensive for you. You'd be surprised how many companies have identical parts manufactured and just slap their respective names in the parts for a huge markup.

imnsho, ss headers for the 55 are garbage...especially for the price they demand. they're purdy but that's about it. they don't appear to have taken any considerations except for the fact that they're long tube and fit in the space allowed.

in that light, i'm quite disappointed in these kleeman units.

I'm referring to the SS headers for the M, not our M113 engine. However, if it's made in China and selling for 6K, I'll buy the Evosport headers instead.
