Did some searches but nothing came up. I want to install a pulley to increase the hp (likely ASP) and couldn't find anyone who has posted detailed instructions or pics.

Is this info out there? Shouldn't be too difficult, but I know it would save time if I had instructions.
Need help.

Watch that crank key though. We had a guy mess up the crank key doing a home install. 15K....yes 15K later, he is back to normal.

Jack up the front (preferebley on a lift). Take the belly pan off, so you get access from below. Take the aradiator fan out to give room to access the bolt holding the pulley down. Use a 17mm to release load on the pulley belt and remove the belt. Unbolt the pulley. Slide it out. Replace with new pulley, being sure to align the key and getting the pulley nice and flush. Tighten the bolt to 200nm + 90 degrees. Put everything back on and enjoy.

Having said that, get it done by a pro.

Do most pulley kits require tuning software. I notice that ASP does not offer a tune with their pulley.

What do most people do? Who offers software tuning that you can tune on a dyno vs. a plug and play?

I would only do an ECU tune if it were specific to your needs. The generic programs don't gain much other than to remove the speed limiter.

So what companies offer software that you can custom tune for your car on the dyno?

And there is the trick!! There are plenty that claim to be able to and more and more that are coming out of the wood work, but none have shown the data on the '06E55s. I think we are starting to see some happy E63 clients, but the really tricked out E55s are still a mystery.
