M cars used to do better. Check out the resale on a M5 or M6, it's horrible.

Another cost is if you turn the car in...write 'em a check for $500. If you decide to buy this "fee" is waived.

I don't like the deal. If you came in with nothing down you are over $1200 per month. Now add tax and you are closer to $1300. Plus it's only 10K miles. Also for $91700 do you get P2? What about Parktronic? If you start to include additional options like pano the numbers will rise. So that $999 number doesn't fool me.

Maybe someone will post the true stats to this lease. It's a better deal than the one offered a few months back. That deal was essentially the same and the lease payment was $1,200.00 per month for a 27 month lease. Must have the money factor to compare the two deals. Both deals are for a P2 lease and you should be able to add parktronics and electric trunk closer without much problem.

true, but I would guess most people who have E63 leases now are paying 1500+ per month with inceptions down.....

i guess 1 advantage to leasing is that you can trash the car and drive teh F##K out of it without breaking a sweat. hit the redline on a cold engine, do 1/4 runs monthly, trash the tranny & diff, and never do any maintenance! and let the next guy worry about repairs!

I don't think it is due to the fact it is a bad car. I do not believe comparable cars to the 63's are selling that well, either (M's, S's, etc). There is not a huge market for these types of cars (4-door, 500 HP, $90K+ cars). When the E came out in 2003 there was literally nothing on the market like it (98% of the straight line performace of Vipers, and = to Z06's) and those who had the finacial resources to buy did - at times at all costs - and now the inventory has outpaced the "active market". However, the wild card on this is the 63's do not offer enough value (performance, looks, etc) for most existing 55 owners to trade in for a newer model. My take is if the 63's would have 550-600 HP, had the same MSRP, and ran mid-11's in the quarter current 55 and M owners would be flocking to buy them...

I agree, MB needed to significantly bump the power and performance of the 63's if they wanted to sell them and get people to upgrade, at least 550HP....

same thing happened with the Vipers, there have not been any signifiant power improvments until now, with the 2008 Viper hitting the 600HP mark.... 600HP is a nice milestone, and people will be out buying those Vipers..... I've had mine for 8 years now, and finally considering to get a new one with the 600 factory HP.... just waiting for the price to be determined...

What is the money factor? They had to tweak it down to get to 999.

0.00115 is the (buy rate) money factor. Multiple that by 2400 and you get a 2.76% rate. Dealers like to pad the MF a little for added profit.

That is quite a deal on the interest rate especially considering the rate for a Wagon is .0037.

Is this on Dealer inventory cars?
To order new would take too long as new models are coming up close.

You can ask the dealer you are working with to apply the same numbers to the car you are buying but these figures are based on a car with an MSRP of $91,075 .

Add $25-30 a month for every $1000 more the car cost's. If the car you are buying is $95 K then add roughly $100-150 a month to that $999 payment.

Thanks for posting this info. Do you know what the 33-mo residual is and also if there is a 27-mo lease being offered with the same residual as the 24-mo (like a couple of months ago).

Curious, how is knowing the money factor helpful when you know the payment is already $999?

It's akin to borrowing money; a situation where you want to know what they are charging you. In this case, it is the key factor reducing the lease payment to a reasonable level.

One comment, the acquisition fee is just B.S. profit, the cost for MB to setup the paperwork. They will waive that fee if you ask them to do so. Paying that fee is a waste IMO.
