My "new" 2003 e55 Presidental Series
I took a few shots of my car today. Still under 5000 miles. I have not washed it but Tectite Grey is a forgiving color. I still need to take some of the interior.

Thanks
I like the color too. Personally i'd have chosen white if I bought it new but this would have been my second choice. I love the charcol interior too. I will probably tint the windows a little and eventually get new rims. I'd also like to tint the orange lites and taillights.

Get the euro strips for the front, so that there is no tinting or anything. Much cleaner and all of $200 for the pair. Get the rears done at a shop that has experience doing it. Make sure they tint it, then clear coat on top.
Great color!!

Looks like the OEM tires!!! Deaded, that Beast is the bomb!
One clean 55, but I see some black marks on your license plate frame.

Those headlights look like they are different. Is it just me or are they a little more slanty?

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
It's certainly my baby now.
Jangy, yeah, I thought about the euro strips. I wonder if it's less safe. Where do you get them, any idea? And thanks for the tips on taillight tinting. I'll do that.
Yep, I've had it two weeks now and have not washed it.
It was pretty clean when I got it so I can't take any credit. Then it was in the shop for 4.5 FREAKIN' painful days
to have the iPod interface installed. I guess driving at 100 in the rain is not a bad carwash. I bought everything and I'm ready to wash it but it just doesn't need it. Like I said, that grey is pretty forgiving. As far as the photos, I just took them this afternoon while waiting for my wife to get ready to go out.
Hehe, yeah, I need to get rid of that BMW frame. Looking for the right one. Any ideas? I need to change the license too. I'm not crazy about the personalized plates.

Awesome pictures!! We should meet sometime.... ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
One suggestion, though. Presidential series is more to the interior.... so why don't you post the interior...![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
BTW, what did you decide w/ the tinted lights? I'm thinking of replacing my steering wheel.... just want to wait until performance products has 15 or 20% off again
(you know, I'm a bargain hunter) Should be right around the corner as Memorial day or 4th of july is approaching.

Yes, the car was apparently lowered a bit before I bought it. I was not aware until the dealer told me a couple days ago.
It does have distronic though I doubt I'll ever use it.
I'll try and take some interior photos on Monday if I have a chance.
The camera is a Canon 10D with a Canon 28-70/2.8L lens. Great little camera but one more thing I want to upgrade (to the 30D).
I am going to go for the taillight tinting and look into the front euro bumer strips.
