Anyone seen one of these before? Silly rabbit tried to race me yesterday.
Not much to the story other than i smoked him by no less than 4 car lengths, 3 traffic lights in a row. I'll give him one thing, he sure was persistant.

I'll bet his tranny is on its way out after that... when I test drove a B5 they would not let me launch in 1st (think it was a 6 or 7sp tiptronic) - they said it was "not good for tranny" ...
OK right so what am I suppossed to do with first gear ... give it to my grandmother?
Clearly lost any potential sale right there.

yeah
saw one near my house last week on my way to work. I decided at the stop sign to show him a little AMG power ... but my tires weren't warmed up yet and my tail was sliding like a MF.

that is a great kill I have yet to see any of the new alpina's on the road. I wonder how our 55's would handle the b6. 500hp and torque. pretty obsure car though ( at least in the US)
i am not too worried!

I would say the beast would take it - the B5 spools slower but has got decent power but not as brutal as E55... the B5 also is a 4.4L ... but with a decent FMIC.
Pretty nice install ... but nothing overwhelming.
When I drove it it felt a bit inert vs the E55 ... think there is a review on here somewhere that I did at the time ...
When I first drove the E55 it was ... OMG!!!

Yes, I have seen a black one in Boca at my favorite sushi place. In my opinion, beautiful car and apparently only 200 of them were being made. I recall an ad in one of my last Dupont Registry mags. I think the site was www.carsforstars.com and they had one for sale. Not sure of the cost to own one.

Yeah its there, interesting car, I kind of like what they did to it. The website looks like they're a bunch of thieves, they must be throwing darts at a board to come up with some of those prices. $450k for a 599 GTB???? ooooookay.

People don't get the B7 for street racing lol. Its just for those who want a faster than usual 7 series. And the 760Li just doesn't seem to make any sense so the only route is Alpina.
