I know theres no perfect answer about tires
I plan on buying new tires for my stock 18" wheels and have no clue which is best for the car and or my driving. I do 1/4 mile tracks four times a year and circle speed track about twice a year. For the most part im just ripping around town doing a buck 50 at least once a week. I burnt through the oem (cont's) in less than 7,000 miles and I dont really do burnouts I don't think thats normal. I've been driving on slicks pretty much for a while. Its time to buy some good tires. I definitly don't want to go with the oem cont's again. Any suggestions? On my old car (03' rs6) i had bfgoodrich g-force kdw2's which looked really agressive and handled exceptionaly well but on the other had you could use cinderblocks as tires and that car would handle ridiclous so I can't really judge if those are right for the 55. I hear alot about the ps2's what are the good point about those tires

I'm happy with PS2's. They're great in the dry weather and they seem fine in the wet but I still have about 1/2 the tread remaining.
One thing I really like is the quiet, especially on concrete roads. I'm okay with wind noise, engine sounds, exhaust but I don't want to hear my tires. Performance tires get louder as they get older but I haven't had that problem with the PS2's yet.
