Video: E55 vs. a F360 and a Viper

Very Nice. I like the 121+ mph..I always look at the trap speed before the time. My best trap speed with the Viper is 125mph. Can't seem to break 115 mph in the 63..best is 114.61. I am still playing with all the possible adjustments C/S, Comfort/sport susp.. traction on/off, shift manually etc. Since both cars are driven to and from the track..I like my 1/4 set-up to be the same as what I will use for daily driving. I have yet to run the 63 with the traction off and charcoal filters removed..hoping this will result in a 12.4 116 pass.....your thoughts from experience?
BTW, I have had higher trap speeds in my E55 as well...

I think Enzom has the best launching technique.. I believe he does a slight burnout in the water box, Rolls to the line, Leaves the traction control on, does not power brake, waits for the light to turn green, and then rolls into the accelerator like he is stepping on an egg (barefoot).

You will definately break that 11.5, you could do better 60ft and you would run 11.3! Venom put the car in DYNO mode you will trap higher! You could do 12.3@117 in the 63! We are all counting on you.

Here is my question:
A modified E55 generally traps at 118-123mph in the 1/4mile. I thought the stock 500hp Vipers trapped at about the same speed. I can understand how an E55 can smoke one from the dig but from a roll I would expect that driver error would be less of a factor. So what is going on here? Is it just that the E55 has more torque or does it build speed more rapidly due to greater HP?

BTW, I know you have a sense of humor Rock, but that videographer you are referring to is my girlfriend and she doesn't have a sense of humor...

I have found that to manually have the transmission in the right gear can totally changes the outcome of the race (from a roll)...

I bet I am competitive for the most life time drags on this forum. My stock SRT-10 runs 11.7 @123mph, on run craps. Have any STOCK E55's run that time? Like I said, I have a strong one from the factory.Since then I have bolted on some minor mods.I am also fairly experienced in driving the car. As far as that paper racing comment (still laughing) I could be found at E-town almost every other week. Benefits of being only 25minutes from the track.
Have not dragged the Viper yet this year...still having fun with the E63. Still not convinced of my baseline times though. Last several runs were all in the 12.6 114 area.
Will be trying something different this week.

I could attest to that....the car is truly a beast, It is aggresively quick of the line. No BS... I don't know but i smell E-town this saturday, what do you guys say....I will need a helmet though there is no way in hell I am paying $120 for that piece of eggshell..
