Vette Question
I'm not an expert on corvettes, but one pulled up next to me at a light and it had a "Z" emblem on the side, It was a new convertible and did not have the vent in the hood as you would expect with the Z06. Anyway, we both got on it as we pulled out from the light. I rolled on my new PS'2 . My car hooked up beautifully and I pulled a couple of car lenths on him and got off the gas. I know it wasn't a Z06, but what does the "Z" stand for???

Arkus Duntov,a member of the Chevrolet design team). Duntov also
worked on the limited edition corvette. (The Dunto Crovette was
limited production of about 67 cars.)

Some Corvette owners with the regular 400 hp LS2 engine with the Z51 performance package option buy a stick-on badge to put on their cars.
Here's 1 example, there are many others..

The Corvette forum is split 65/35 laugh-at/for this idea.
