First Kill in the E63 Sleeper Wagon!
Just had my first kill in the E63 Wagon! I ran out to the store quickly and was on my way home when I got stuck at a drawbridge waiting for a big yacht to pass by underneath. I was the first in line in the right lane and a Maserati GranSport Coupe lined up first in the left. As we were waiting for probably about 4 minutes, he kept revving his engine and looking over at me trying to show off so I decided not to match his revving but just smoke him when the gates went up since this car is such a sleeper. Since I'm still in the break-in period, I kept it in Drive with Comfort mode to stay easy on the engine and jumped out by a couple car lengths with him revving pretty high trying to keep up. I can just imagine what it would've been like had I been able to put it in Manual mode and rev it higher than 4,000. When we came to the stoplight after the bridge he just shook his head and gave a thumbs up. Even though it was sort of a minor kill, man do I love this car!

Nice kill, esp since you were in a wagon. Very cool. Shame you couldn't give him the full 100bhp advantage.
Gransports always want to race. I had one line up against me revving leaving LAX at a stoplight with a right angle turn. I just stomped, gripped and went while by the time he'd finished trying to negotiate the turn the damage was done.

Great job, serves him right getting smoked by the sleeper wagon.
Hey amgmike1, when are you going to post up some better pics of your e63? In just the past few years I've found myself with 2 kids and the E63 wagon is calling my name. Would love to see some more shots of your car.

I would not drive too conservatively....You should at the very least get her in d/s. The 63's that were driven hard from day one are the ones doing the best on the dyno. I have spoken to many engine builders and 90% of them say the engine has already been sufficiently run prior to going into the car. Driving it below trains the ECU and shift points and will dull the car down. It will take even crazier driving to snap the car out of its misery. Trust me my car felt like a Camry until I started hammering throttle

No minor kill if you dusted him in comfort mode. In 2+ years I've not had anyone line up against me. Whenever I drive my wife's RX400h I always seem to have somebody wanting a race.
