Renntech Upgrades
Does the renntech ecu mod or any other renntech mods eliminate the speed limiter? I think the answer is no but I would like it to be yes. Even with all the sht done to the car I still havent been able to break 150mph because of the NY roads i deal with and the law that doesnt help.

Also, I don't think that ALL tuners do that.

You should come out to one of our meets here in NYC. I think we can help you find out whether or not the speed limiter has been removed.

My understanding is that it is 186 as well ... from the guts of the ECU standpoint, it's a bump from 250 kph to 300 kph.

Personal experience....yes...it's raised substantially above 150. My installer said it was limited at 186 mph.

Speed Governor/Limiter
I was told by RennTech and Kleemann before that the speed limiter would be removed. However, MB's AMG 030 package just raises the limit to 186 mph.

Did any modified E55 attempt a 190 mph run...
