Yep! Absolutely!!! Not a worry at all over here! His victory does not surprise me at all vs the M5. Modded E55 is a different story since he thinks he'll give those a run for the $$. I have to give him credit though his car runs very well!

Just the sound of that M5 makes me want to buy one.

The first few races had the M5 covered,but the last few races,the M5 held its own.

looks like the higher speeds.. the M5 was keeping the lead and not letting the S4 (RS4 mods) pass..

can jump to conclusions here.. maybe the Evilempire could chime in.

i'm not surprised under 100mph the M5 gets beat.. over 100 is a different story.

one stage 3, the other stage 4.

the stage 4 killed the m5 at all speeds

EvilEmpires's Audi will run away from any stock M5, E55/63 and most modded E55's. I've seen his car at the track. He trapped 8 mph more than me even though he was having clutch problems.

More clarification. The s4's were all well modified, running race gas, have upgraded turbos and 20+psi of boost. Anthony's M5 is on crappy 91 octane, stock engine, aftermarket mufflers. No software, no intake.

im pretty sure we knew they were all modified.

they also have almost half of the displacement of the m5 motor and HALF the hp stock.

Yea and about HALF the weight too. Not trying to take anything away from the s4's. They are very impressive!! But on race gas too. Just make sure everyone knows the TRUTH.

Race gas, 20+psi boost, light weight, upgraded twin turbos, ecu tune, and whatever else done to the motor. Or a bone stock M5 on full tank of pump gas, and a pair of mufflers.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

I agree with outlaw and not trying to take anything away from the competition, they sure as hell are quick but not to much to compare, it was brave of the M5 even to step up to the challenge, they did hold their own....at least with the stage 3, lol. The stage 4 has to be pushing at least 500+ to the wheels to walk him that way above 100 mph, very nice machines indeed.

I would buy an M5 for the sound alone. Next to a Ferrari v12 or CGT, that is one of the best sounding engines in the world.

When AMG_55 talks about 2 cars. And conveniently leaves out some MAJOR details like running RACE GAS and 20+psi of BOOST vs Stock NA. Some people may get the wrong idea. Lets just stick to the facts. Happy motoring guys!!

Theres was a youtube clip floating around in here,that had an M5 with a great sounding exhaust making some runs on the autobahn I believe.I agree,those cars sound amazing with the right exhaust on them.

But Jody the fact still remains that the car(S4) weighs perhaps only 3 to 400 lbs less than the M5,has 1/2 the displacement,4 less cylinders, and would have to be modded in order to run with the M5. Yes it's running 20psi + rumored race fuel,(which I don't see why unless it has higher cp pistons) But still impressive non-the -less the way the M5 was beat. Even Gustav tried to claim that the aftermarket rims were perhaps slowing down the "M" because he refused to believe what he was seeing. So as far as he was concerned ,put on the stck rims, and those modded S4's would perhaps not have a chance vs a stck M5.

So I agree with AMG_55!!!

As of right now there is not a modded M5 that runs high 11's(12.0@120mph was the fastest I've seen posted modded M5(Keitha)) without spraying and these modded S4's already run 11's.
